This recipe sounds AMAZING. Includes my two favorite things: chicken and avocado. However, for someone who is severely lactose intolerant, what would you suggest as a replacement for the greek yogurt?
I made this last night and I LOVED it. It tastes too good to be healthy! Yum yum yum. Also, for those of you wondering, I calculated the calories: 1/4 of the recipe is about 250-270 calories if you use low-fat mayo and nonfat Greek yogurt like I did (the exact number might be slightly higher or lower depending on the brand of mayo and yogurt you use, but it’s in that range). My question is, how long do you think this will last in the fridge if stored properly? I would love to make this a regular in my weekly meal prep rotation, , but would 4 days be pushing it? Thanks for this great recipe!
I would say 3-4 days would be the max 🙂
Actually, did I say 250 calories for 1/4 of the recipe in my last post? I meant to say about 150-170, not 250-270! Calorie bargain!
Hi there! In the picture is it wrapped in tortilla shells? Yummy!
Amazing recipe, thank you so much. I made some variations and had a super tasty meal ready for my girlfriend when she got home from work! We even had some extra for her to take to work for lunch today. Many brownie points were accrued 🙂
I used sour cream instead of Greek yoghurt, about 100g, and then about the same of light mayo.
Also, I used tomato tortilla wraps instead of pitas, wrapped onto themselves, then heated for 5-8 minutes in a 200 degree (celcius) oven to crisp the outside – delish!
I’ll keep popping back to see what other recipes I can use 🙂
