Time for the wearing of the green!
You can always tell when it’s St. Patrick’s Day, because suddenly everyone is wearing green. Whether they’re Irish or just Irish at heart, everybody wants to get into the spirit of the holiday. All along the street, you see green getups on grownups, kids, even pets.
So I figured, why not Oreos?
This simply St. Patrick’s Day treat is a dipped Oreo that’s showing its Irish spirit. All you do is take a regular Oreo, dunk it in some green-colored chocolate, and suddenly it’s…an O’Reo!
This recipe calls for green and white candy melts, which you can find at craft stores. But if you don’t have a craft store nearby, you can just grab a bag of regular white chocolate chips and some green sprinkles to go on top.
Then, just combine them any way you want. Plain green candy, white with green sprinkles, green with white sprinkles, green with white and green sprinkles…as long as it’s green, it’s Irish.
So grab those green candies, and get your Oreos dressed up right for the holiday!

This recipe is rather simple and easy; however, white chocolate does NOT melt easily. So, basically I used oreos, melted dark chocolate, with sprinkles. Didn’t come out like the picture since I couldn’t use the white chocolate and green food dye.
