Cream Cheese Mints

Cream Cheese Mints - Family Fresh Meals Recipe

The holidays are just around the corner, and that means it’s time to go through my recipes and choose which holiday goodies to make this year. And even though my file is pretty packed, I just couldn’t resist adding a new recipe to the list. I learned about a traditional candy called Cream Cheese Mints, and their minty flavor and soft texture sounded completely irresistible.

And they’re so easy to make! No rolling and cutting, no baking, no need to even turn on the stove. Just blend butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese, mint extract, and food coloring into a soft dough, then roll it out into little balls, squish them down with a fork, and let them set. Honestly, with a recipe that easy, how could I not whip up a batch?

So I did, and they’re every bit as good as they sound. They’ve got that sweet peppermint flavor that always tastes like Christmas, and they simply melt in your mouth. Plus, you can make them in any color you like, and they’ll keep for a couple of months in the freezer. (Yeah, right, like there are going to be any left over.)

Guess I’ll just have to expand my holiday repertoire a little, because these are definitely a keeper.

This is it! I’m so excited! Thank you so much!
