My family doesn’t care for Parmesan. Can I leave it out?

  • You can if you increase the bread crumbs by 1/3 cup to make sure you have enough to cover the chops completely. But then you have to call them just “Crusted Pork Chops.”

Could I use a different herb in place of the parsley?

  • Of course! Use whatever suits your taste. A teaspoon of rosemary or thyme could be terrific in these. You can also try it with Italian-seasoned bread crumbs instead of plain ones.

How to Make Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

Ingredients
 

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

    I made this recipe but with 2 changes. I changed the seasoning salt (because most have MSG in them) to Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning and then I cooked the pork chops in my air fryer grill. I preheated it to 400 degrees, then inserted my grill pan and cooked the chops for 8 minutes on one side; flipped them over and cooked them for another 6 minutes on the other side. Oh – and I misted both sides with a light spray of Olive Oil. They came out very juicy and tender with great grill marks on them. Air Frying cut the calories too.
