Special enough for company, simple enough for every day.
When you’re expecting company for dinner, naturally you like to pull out the stops and cook up something extra special – something like my Seafood Lasagna or Melting Potatoes. These recipes sometimes take a bit of extra time and work, but it’s worth the effort to impress your guests.
But most days, you don’t have time to fuss with fancy recipes. On a busy weeknight, you just want something simple that will get dinner on the table fast, like Instant Pot Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta or One Pot Cheesy Zucchini Rice.
Well, hang on to your hats, folks. Because these Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops can actually do both jobs to perfection. These tender, boneless pork chops, coated with a crisp, golden parmesan coating, are beautiful enough and delicious enough to impress any dinner guest. But they’re also super quick and easy to fix for a family dinner.
Easy, flavorful, and gorgeous to look at, these chops may just be the perfect recipe for any night of the year.
My family doesn’t care for Parmesan. Can I leave it out?
- You can if you increase the bread crumbs by 1/3 cup to make sure you have enough to cover the chops completely. But then you have to call them just “Crusted Pork Chops.”
Could I use a different herb in place of the parsley?
- Of course! Use whatever suits your taste. A teaspoon of rosemary or thyme could be terrific in these. You can also try it with Italian-seasoned bread crumbs instead of plain ones.
What are some good side dishes to serve with pork chops?
- My Crockpot Country Potatoes would be a good choice, because they’ve got veggies and starch in one pot. Or you could pair them with plain baked potatoes, or mashed potatoes and a snazzy veggie dish, like my Honey Bacon Brussels Sprouts. Or go the other way and add a simple green salad and a fancier starch, like my Parmesan Garlic Knots.

I made this recipe but with 2 changes. I changed the seasoning salt (because most have MSG in them) to Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning and then I cooked the pork chops in my air fryer grill. I preheated it to 400 degrees, then inserted my grill pan and cooked the chops for 8 minutes on one side; flipped them over and cooked them for another 6 minutes on the other side. Oh – and I misted both sides with a light spray of Olive Oil. They came out very juicy and tender with great grill marks on them. Air Frying cut the calories too.
