  • 4 large sweet onions cut into thick slices
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter cut into pieces
  • 1 cup smoked Gouda cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • Fresh thyme for serving

Instructions
