Air Fryer BBQ Little Smokies

These Air Fryer BBQ Lil Smokies are one of my top favorite appetizers to serve and enjoy at parties, or when watching a big game with the family. They’re sweet and tangy cocktail sausages that get a perfect crispy exterior with help from the air fryer.plate of air fryer bbq lil smokies

They’re an absolute cinch to make and most times you won’t need to worry about any leftovers!

TIPS FOR MAKING AIR FRYER BBQ LITTLE SMOKIES

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket otherwise your Lil smokies won’t cook as they should. Rather cook in batches to allow for a good amount of air circulation in the air fryer.
  • Allow the Lil smokies to rest for a few minutes before serving as you would with any meat.
  • You can use any type of cocktail sausage that you love the most – beef, pork, chicken, or even a mixture of these.
  • If you can’t find cocktail sausages, use regular sausage but cut it down to size.
  • If you don’t enjoy any form of chili in your food, simply omit the chili seasoning from the sauce mixture. On the other hand, if you’d enjoy a hotter sauce, add in extra chili seasoning or cayenne pepper.
