You can whip up the pudding itself in just a few minutes. Then you beat in some whipped topping to make it extra light and fluffy. And finally, you layer the pudding in a bowl with vanilla wafers and banana slices, with extra whip on top.

And that’s it! Just let the pudding chill in the fridge while you serve and eat dinner. Then you can pull it out, top it with a few more wafers and bananas, and serve up a beautiful dessert that looks and tastes homemade.

I really liked this recipe, but when buying the pudding, there were 2 sizes and i was not sure to which you were referring.

  2. It says in the ingredients 16oz of cool whip but in the instructions says add in 8oz of cool whip. How much really cool whip needed in this recipe?Sorry but I’m confused.

    1. Hi Dianna. It is 16oz. You use the first 8oz in the beginning. Then it step 3 it has you add in the rest.

  3. What size vanilla pudding packet did you use?

    1. 3.4 oz box 🙂

  4. Thanks for the recipe! I’m really looking forward to making this but I had a few questions before I start! Are the bananas layered on top of the wafers or ontop of a separate layer of pudding? Will it make a difference if I pick to layer it one way vs the other? Also, will the wafers be less fluffy if I double layer it instead of single layer it?
