My husband is not a huge fan of chicken—especially in the crock pot. He looked less than thrilled when I told him I was making a crockpot chicken recipe for tacos. He was dreading dinner all day. Once he sat down and ate he was pleasantly surprised! He actually asked to save the leftovers to have for lunch tomorrow & said to add it to the “regular dinner” list! Major win for me because this dish was so easy (and it did taste good!) I did add a little cream cheese w/ chive and onion for additional flavor/ thicken it a little bit during the last hour of cooking time! Thanks!!

  2. Anyone ever make this with the insta pot?

Hi! Wondering if I can cook this chicken longer than 5 hours since I won’t be home from work in time based on when I leave in the morning? Something closer to 6.5 hours? Would that be bad?

    1. Your chicken might dry out. If you do try for the longer time, make sure you are using large chicken breasts, and use the low setting. I hope that helps 🙂

  5. I made this recipe for our dinner last evening and it was fabulous! I’m putting this recipe in my rotation. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
