Creamy Bacon Pea Salad
Hands down the Best Pea Salad ever!!!!
Sometimes, the trickiest part of getting dinner on the table is the veggies. You’ve got some great main dish lined up, like my Buttermilk Ranch Fried Chicken, and at the last minute you realize you need a vegetable to go with it. At times like that, the easiest thing to do is just grab a bag of frozen peas, which go with pretty much everything.
But if you do that too often, your family starts getting sick of plain green peas. In fact, it can get to the point when they turn up their noses as soon as they see a bowl of peas on the table. They won’t even give peas a chance!

Here’s a recipe that will turn those plain old green peas into something your family can get excited about. This Creamy Bacon Pea Salad mixes that bag of peas with bacon bits, shredded cheese, and a creamy, tangy dressing that will wake those sleeping taste buds right up.
This salad takes just a few minutes to whip up…but it’s best to let it chill for a good hour before serving it to give all the flavors a chance to blend. Pea salad has been a staple at holiday meals in our family for many many years. We make ours a little different. It’s just peas, bacon, chopped hard boiled eggs, mayo, and black pepper. Chilled before serving. Very simple but incredibly delish! I will have to give your recipe a try to see what the family thinks. Thanks for sharing!
I like this type of food…I think creamy bacon pea salad is delicious!!!!!!
