Greek Yogurt Chicken Salad just got a whole lot cooler!
If you love chicken salad and avocados, then you are going to go ga-ga for this recipe. After my first bite , I had an OMG moment. How can this taste THIS GOOD and be HEALTHY!
To make this recipe even more awesome, I used 1/2 mayo and 1/2 plain Greek Yogurt. This plus the creamy chunks of avocado really do take this recipe up a notch. Healthy Avocado Chicken Salad
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20-30 minutes to let all those yummy flavors blend together.


- Serve on your favorite bread, crackers, pita pocket or on a bed of lettuce.

Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 1 tsp fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup plain Greek Yogurt

Made this yesterday. TRULY phenomenal. This will be a staple for my lunches in the future. Chicken salad is one of my favorite things EVER and this is such a healthy tasty version I feel good about it. Thank you so much!
I saw this recipe two days ago, made it yesterday and thought this was fantastic. The only thing I did differently, was left out the cilantro (because I didn’t have any), and instead of leaving the avocado cubed, I put it in a ninja blender with all the other ingredients (except chicken), and blended until it became sort of a creamy dip consistency. Scooped it all out, shredded the chicken in the blender, mixed the two together in a bowl and threw it in the fridge for 30 mins. I ate it on pita with lettuce.

I’m a big fan of anything avocado and cilantro. I made this for dinner today and had no complaints. I tweaked the recipe with ground chicken and sauteed onions. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us.
