No Bake Chocolate Caramel Cereal Bars
Boy oh boy do I have a treat for you today! Cereal bars are always a hit at my house. We have had fun experimenting with a bunch of different cereals, and have never met one we haven’t loved.
So for this batch, I decided to take it up a notch…. a chocolate-caramel notch that is. These sweet treats start with chocolate and end with more chocolate. Each bite is infused with gooey caramel. Are you drooling yet?
The best part about these Chocolate Caramel Cereal Bars? They are a NO BAKE treat. Perfect for those little kitchen helpers to make. Since it was close to Valentine’s Day, I used pink and white chocolate for the topping, along with heart-shaped sprinkles. But that is the great thing about these No Bake Chocolate Caramel Cereal Bars, you can customize them for any event or holiday. Just change up the color chocolate and sprinkles!

No Bake Chocolate Caramel Cereal Bars
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
½ cup pink candy melts
2 cups Cheerios cereal
1 package melting caramels
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Sprinkles
1. Line a square 8X8 inch pan with parchment paper.
2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips by microwaving 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between rounds. Spread melted chocolate the bottom of a square 8×8 inch pan. Set aside.
3. Heat caramels in a sauce pan, on low to melt. Once they begin to soften, whisk in heavy cream. Stir frequently and remove from heat when completely liquid and smooth. Mix Cheerios with caramel gently to coat.
4. Spread out in a layer on top of your melted chocolate.
5. Melt white chocolate and pink candy melts in separate microwave safe bowls (the same way your melted the chocolate chips). Once melted, drizzle on each one in a random pattern all over your Cheerios until you have a look that you want. (This layer shouldn’t be too thick, so your bars are easy to bite)
6. Add sprinkles and mini chocolate chips to the top, then let cool/harden for 1 hour before cutting into squares.
