Slow Cooker Sandwiches
You can tailor them to your liking and are easy to make vegetarian. So mix and match and just have fun with these.
Slow Cooker Sandwiches
- Slice bread 13 times, almost all the way through but leaving 1/2 inch space at the bottom.
- Layer your 2 slice of each meat, cheese and peppers, sprinkle with Italian seasonings and fold together.
- Place meat and cheese bundles in between
- Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and make sure it’s sealed tight.slices, creating 6 sandwiches. NOTE: some slices were smaller than others, so I was only able to fit 1 slice of each.
- Ball up some aluminum foil (I did four small balls) and place in the crockpot for the sandwich bundle to sit on, up off the water.
- Add 1 cup of water to the crock pot and place sandwich bundle on top of aluminum balls.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
- When done, cut up into sandwiches and enjoy! Serve right away, the bread will dry out if you wait too long to serve.
