How To Make a Santa Hat Pizza

Let’s change a boring pepperoni pizza into a MAGICAL meal!

How to make a Christmas pizza!

Happy December everyone! I do love this time of year :) We had a lot of festive Christmas activities going on this weekend…one being this FUN Santa Hat Pizza! (thank you Makes the Best of Everything for the idea.)

These mini Santa hats were SO easy to make, and really made for a magical pizza. Ho, Ho, Ho!

Here is what you need to make Santa hat pizzas!

-Your favorite pizza dough- I used a pizza thin crust to SAVE time :)
- Your favorite pizza cheese
- pepperoni
- sliced fresh mozzarella
- pizza sauce.
-OPTIONAL, To add some festive green color to the pizza, I used some fresh baby spinach.

The whole family will love this!

1. Start by cutting the the pepperoni in to triangles. Set aside.

2. Add pizza sauce and spinach or whatever topping you like and top with pizza cheese.

3. Place pepperoni ON TOP of shredded cheese. Carefully put thin slices of mozzarella on the pepperoni to make the “white fluff” of Santa’s hat.

Place pizza in the oven ( I cooked ours at 400) for about 10-14 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

I know this is from a long ago post, but I was looking up how to make slow cooker scalloped potatoes for Christmas with my family and came upon your recipe from last year. http://www.familyfreshmeals.com/2011/12/slow-cooker-scalloped-potatoes.html
I was wondering how you think they would turn out if I doubled the recpie? I have a large family. Thanks for your help!
