The Best Homemade Poppy Seed Dressing

Poppy Seed Dressing being poured on a salad

I don’t know why so many people get all their salad dressing out of a bottle. It’s so much cheaper to make your own, and healthier too. And it’s really not hard at all to make, and I’ve got the recipes to prove it.

Here’s my latest one: Homemade PoppySeed Dressing. It’s a quick little dressing that goes great with my new Apple Walnut Goat Cheese Salad…or any other green salad, with or without fruit. It’s light and tangy, sweet but not too sweet, with just a little bit of a mustard-and-onion kick.

I was looking for a poppy seed recipe that was creamy but not with a ton of sugar, and this one was just right. It is like it says, tangy and sweet at the same time. Delicious! It is going into my favorites book!
