WoW! What a great idea. The pieces of bleu cheese will make this great. And it’s vegetarian too.

So…I just made these and followed the recipe exactly. I got news for you; they’re great! My new favorite. As a matter of fact, I have now officially switched teams thanks to this recipe. I used to be team French-fry. I will now forever be team Tater-tot!
I’ve actually never tried Frank’s redHot and I like it. The sauce wasn’t spicy and I’d imagine these treats would be kid-friendly because they were more sweet and savory than hot.

Had high hopes, but the honey in the recipe made it impossible to ‘crisp’ the tots, and they were really sticky to boot. Going to try making them without the honey, perhaps find an alternative sweetener, or skip that altogether. About 1/3 of the tots fell apart when I tried to put them on the toothpick – deep sigh!

Sorry these didn’t turn out to your liking. I haven’t had a problem with them not being crispy enough…. maybe it was the type of tots you used? Thanks for giving the recipe a try though!
