Why shell out for a Starbucks box when you can make your own?
Is anyone else a fan of the bistro boxes from Starbucks? I sure am. When I need a healthy lunch in a hurry, those handy little boxes with a complete lunch packed snugly inside look just about perfect. They’ve got plenty of protein to keep me going through the afternoon, and all in a little package that’s easy to carry with me.
The only part I hate? The price. I mean, really? Five bucks for a little sandwich, a few baby carrots, and a cluster of grapes? I could pack exactly the same lunch at home for under a dollar!
So now, that’s exactly what I do. I just pack up my own Copycat Starbucks Bistro Box at home, and I can easily take it with me while I’m out and about. That way, I can have my handy, protein-packed lunch and save the extra four bucks for a magazine to read with it.
