Crockpot Green Beans Potatoes and Ham
Creamy Crockpot Green Beans Potatoes and Ham
I grew up with green beans, potatoes and ham. So I decided to put a fun twist on this family favorite. I have always wanted to try bacon as the ham element and what better way to cook this recipe than in a crockpot!
I am happy to report that this recipe was loved by the entire family. I was able to use vegetarian bacon to make this vegetarian friendly for Darryl, and it also turned out great. This quick and easy side is perfect for any family occasion.

I make this all the time too!! I grew up eating my grandma’s slow cooked green beans & potatoes (with ham or ham bone) on her stove top. I would eat it as a meal I still love GB’s *that* much! I make it in my crockpot now too. This is SERIOUSLY one of my favorite things of all time! LOVE!
Where’s the ham? The name of the dish says it has ham in it?
The bacon is the “ham” part of this dish.
Then say bacon. I had some cubed ham I thought I would use. Thank you for the reply, have a blessed day!
I absolutely love that cableknit design baking dish! Would love to find one! Any suggestions?

Could I substitute cream of potato for cream of mushroom? Unfortunately, we don’t have cream of potato in Australia.
Yes, that will work just fine Chelsea 🙂
