Now you can have your cake and candy too!
How to make Poke Cake!
When I was a younger, I remember drooling over Poke Cake. It was always a family favorite, and there’s a reason why. Poke cakes are moist, sweet and addicting. The fun thing about this kind of cake, is you can make it your own.
I decided to name this my Easy Candy Bar Poke Cake Recipe, because you can use YOUR favorite cake recipe and candy choice. If you are a chocolate fan, swap out the caramel sauce for chocolate and the yellow cake for chocolate cake.
My daughter wants to try a strawberry cake next with a berry preserve. I like the way this girl thinks! haha. So have fun mixing and matching cakes and candies. Make sure to let me know your favorite combos!

Do you think it would be moist enough without the condensed milk? Is it crazy sweet with both poured into the cake?
Corey says
Sorry I can’t say Jeanine. I have only made it this way.
Susan says
Does it matter if Carmel is first, then the sweet condensed milk?
Corey says
Nope 🙂
Sherry says
Can I mix the caramel and condensed milk together before pouring?
Corey says
I have never done that before Sherry, so I don’t know for sure how well that would work
RMP says
May I use regular. Chocolate icing instead of the cool whip. My family doesn’t like cool whip.
Corey says
I have only make the recipe as written, so I can’t say for sure. But, I don’t see there being any issue with you using your favorite chocolate icing.
