Easy Valentine’s Day Cookies
There’s no doubt about it… I LOVE Valentine’s Day! Yes, I know, it’s a Hallmark holiday, but the little girl in me still can’t get enough of all those pink sparkly hearts. Plus, there is usually chocolate involved on this holiday. BONUS!
Now on to these super EASY Valentine’s Day cookies. Have you seen those half dipped Valentine’s Day fortune cookies? SO CUTE!
Since our local grocery store didn’t have any fortune cookies, I quickly searched around for something similar to dip in chocolate and cover in sprinkles. I found these pink wafer cookies right away. Yay! They were already pink, AND seemed they they would be much easier to eat than fortune cookies.
How to Make Easy Valentine’s Day Cookies
- white melting chocolate ( or whatever color you would like)
- wafer cookies
- variety of Valentine’s Day sprinkles
- parchment or wax paper
- Start by melting your chocolate as direct on package. I found this great tub of marshmallow flavored melting chocolate that you pop right in the microwave. I loved the easy clean up!
- While you are waiting for the chocolate to melt, gather your sprinkles and cookies. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. This will prevent sticking while the cookies dry.
- Once chocolate is melted, dip the top half of a wafer cookie.
- Quickly sprinkle on your chosen sprinkles.
- Place on prepared baking sheet to dry.
Our cookies were totally dry within 35 minutes. But this may vary on what melting chocolate you use. These have been requested by both kids AND my husband for dessert every night this week. These Easy Valentine’s Day Cookies have definitely become a family favorite!

Love this idea! How far in advance can you make this treat?
As long as you keep them in a sealed bag, I would say a week or so 🙂
Thanks 🙂
❤️ where did you find the marshmallow flavor candy coating? Thanks
Our local grocery store had it, but I do think you could find this on Amazon.
