Best meatball recipe ever! It was delicious! I will keep this recipe forever!
Sounds good until you get to the frozen meatballs….it takes me 20 minutes to make fresh ones so from now on, I’ll make them fresh. The sauce is good though.
Yep, fresh ones taste great with this recipe too 🙂
Couple questions:
1. I would think the fresh meatballs, even with binding agents, would still fall apart in the crock-pot if not baked or pan-fried a bit first to get them to stay together. What do you think? Thanks.
2. Could I replace the ketchup with Hoisen sauce and the garlic with chili garlic sauce? Would this be too much sodium with the Soy sauce?
Thank you!
Yes, I would do a quick pan fry to just brown the edges a little. As far as your #2… I can only say this. I have not used those sauces for this, so I can’t tell you how that would turn out. But if you do give it a try, please come back and let us know how it went!
My husband loved these! I liked ’em too but barely got to have any. Figured I’d be nice and let him have the whole pot! 😉
Hahaha. That is awesome!
These were delicious!!! The sauce was ridiculously good! Next time I would double the sauce just so I could have more of it! This recipe is definitely a keeper! 🙂
I just recently got into cooking different recipes I find on the internet, and this one is by far my favorite so far.. The sauce is PERFECTION. Thank you so much!
