TIPS FOR MAKING CREAMY GRAPE SALAD

  • For additional crunch, top this dessert with some unsweetened coconut flakes.
  • Make sure to use high quality grapes for this dessert that are sweet and crispy.
  • If you feel that the grapes are too large, simply cut them in half.
  • Feel free to toast your nuts used in the salad. It’ll provide another depth of flavor that’s incredibly addictive.

WHAT VARIATIONS CAN I MAKE TO THIS RECIPE?

  1. Make this creamy grape salad low fat by using a low fat cream cheese and low fat sour cream.
  2. Change the quantities of the red and green grapes called for in the recipe to suit your taste preference.
  3. You can swap the brown sugar for a low-carb sweetener such as Swerve or Splenda, or even Erythritol.
  4. You can add almond extract instead of vanilla for a different taste.

HOW SHOULD I STORE THIS CREAMY GRAPE SALAD?

  • This dessert salad can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator. I don’t suggest storing this dessert longer than a few days since the grapes will start to get mushy with the wet dessert ingredients.

CAN I FREEZE CREAMY GRAPE SALAD?

  • I don’t suggest freezing this dessert as the grapes will come out mushy once thawed and the cream-based ingredients risk separating.

This is one of my favorite go to recipes. For the colored grapes Concord grapes are delicious. I’ve not used the heath bits before. That’s a pleasant change.
