Dear avocados… I love you.
Summertime always has me on an avocado kick. But, I guess that’s not a bad thing 🙂
My family LOVED the last avocado smoothie I made for them, so I thought I would try out a couple more avocado-based drinks! Be on the look-out for some more coming soon to Smoothie Sunday!
Note: If you do not have frozen fruit to use for the smoothies, fresh fruit will work just fine. If using fresh fruit, make sure to add a handful of ice to the other ingredients before blending. The frozen fruit just adds that cold element to make an ice cold drink.
Avocado Mango Smoothie
- (Makes 2 large smoothies)
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 pitted avocado
- 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
- 1 cup almond milk (regular milk or coconut milk also works great)
- 1-2 TB honey
- favorite optional add-in: 2-4 drops Orange essential oil
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

This was really great! I added ice because my mango was fresh and tossed a banana in there! Tasty! I just have a regular blender and it blended up nice and creamy!
