Hawaiian BBQ Bell Pepper Crockpot Chicken

 Here is another fun crockpot meal to try! The best thing about this recipe, is that it only requires a handful of ingredients. Not only does this taste great on a sandwich bun, but this shredded chicken also makes an excellent salad topper. YUM!

 Hawaiian BBQ Bell Pepper Crockpot Chicken

  1. Place all ingredients in crockpot.Child pouring frozen bell pepper and pineapple chunks into a crockpot
  2. Cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-6 hours.  Use 2 forks to shred chicken while it is still in the crock pot. Let shredded chicken remain in crockpot sauce for 15 more minutes to soak up all that sweet goodness, then serve on buns, salad, or even rice!Hope you enjoy!Hawaiian BBQ Bell Pepper Crockpot Chicken served over white rice

Ingredients
 

  • 4-5 Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 18oz bottle of your favorite honey bbq sauce.
  • 1.5 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 cups of frozen bell pepper strips
  • 1 20 oz can of pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1/2 cup of water

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in crockpot.
  • Cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-6 hours.
  • Use 2 forks to shred chicken while it is still in the crock pot.
  • Let shredded chicken remain in crockpot sauce for 15 more minutes to soak up all that sweet goodness, then serve on buns, salad, or even rice!

      Made this for Dinner tonight!!! It was SUPER DELICIOUS!!! So easy too !!! I added 1/3 cup of Cornstarch Slurry to thicken into a Gravy over rice!!!
