Corey,
I would love to make this for my family, but my daughter has a pineapple allergy. Any suggestions for a replacement?
Maybe using an apricot preserve instead. It would still provide the same sweetness as the pineapple 🙂
I made this tonight. It was super watery… yummy, but super watery. Would it work if I cut the amount of broth & water?
i MADE THIS AND TOTALLY REMOVED THE WATER BASED ON ANOTHER COMMENT. iT WAS VERY GOOD BUT I THINK IT’S STILL TOO THIN. i LIKED IT ENOUGH TO MAKE IT AGAIN BUT I WILL EITHER REDUCE THE BROTH OR THICKEN THE SAUCE WITH CORNSTARCH NEXT TIME.
Has anyone used chicken thighs to make this?
And has anyone figured out the pound weight of chicken to use?
And lastly, I assume you can use fresh peppers?
Why frozen? Just to save time?
