Homemade Chocolate Fudge Brownies with Nutella Frosting
I think Nutella is like some kind of magic potion. You can spread it on anything – toast, strawberries, bananas – and turn it into an amazing dessert. So I started wondering, what would happen if you took something that was already an amazing dessert, like fudge brownies, and put Nutella on it?
The answer turns out to be: it turns into an even more amazing dessert.

My Homemade Chocolate Fudge Brownies with Nutella Frosting start out with a good old-fashioned brownie recipe. That’s a dessert that pretty much can’t miss, even when you serve it all by itself. But then, I wave my magic wand over them by topping them with a Nutella buttercream frosting…and they go from just ordinary delicious to completely spellbinding. Swooning, eyes rolling back in the head, the whole bit.
Forget a magic kiss…if these brownies won’t turn a frog into a prince or wake up a sleeping princess, nothing will.

These were FABULOUS. I’ve been struggling to find a brownie recipe that I really like for a long time! I am so happy that I not only found my “go-to” brownie recipe, but the nutella frosting is to die for as well! Thank you, thank you! 🙂
Made these today for new baby’s homecoming tomorrow. My question is, can any leftover frosting be frozen? It seemed to make quite a bit and I don’t want to throw a good think out.
This recipe was so easy and delicious. I took it to a gathering and they got lots of compliments. Thanks for the great recipe.
