No Bake Cherry Cheesecake Dessert
Dessert always poses kind of a problem in summertime. When it’s 90 degrees out, the last thing you want to do is run the oven for half an hour to bake a cake or a pie. So you end up sticking to ice cream and fresh fruit – both very tasty, but you can get tired of them after a while.
This No Bake Cherry Cheesecake Dessert is the perfect solution. It’s a real dessert, with layers of cherries, creamy filling, and a crumbly, buttery graham cracker crust. But you can make it without so much as touching your oven.

In fact, aside from melting some butter, you don’t have to use heat at all. You press the graham cracker crust into the pan and let it chill while you whip up the cream cheese mixture – then spread that over the crust and top it with canned cherry pie filling – and then let the whole thing chill for a couple of hours until it’s set.
This dessert makes the perfect end to a summer meal. After a good two hours (or more) in the fridge, it comes out cool, creamy, fruity, and basically delightful. And you’ll be delighted at not having to air out the kitchen afterwards.

the cherry pie filling is that a can of cherries im in Australia never heard of cherry pie filling
Maggie, I’m pretty sure it would be the can of cherries, I’ve bought canned blueberries for a cheesecake and it looked just like the picture shown here, other than they were blueberries.
It was a great recipe. Everybody likes it.
My family has been making this recipe forever. However, we mix the cherries in with the cream cheese/whip cream. Another one we do is with pineapple. Drain the liquid and mix it with the cream cheese/whip cream mixture. We also sprinkle the graham cracker mixture on top. Try it! I can send you my family recipe.
I must’ve use the wrong size pan. I use the cake pan which is what a 9 x 13. But it looks like I maybe I should’ve double the cream cheese mixture because there’s not that much there. Did I do something wrong?
I made this one and everyone loved it but then a flash of inspiration hit me so I added some cherry jello to it and mixed it together and used a whole tub of the topping which gave it a tarty extra flavor to it which you might like. please share this tip onto others if you like.
Sounds like a yummy idea!
If you love the cherry jello one try the blueberry and raspberry jellos with lots of berries and a whole tub of whipped topping as they are fantastic.
