{Healthy} Pumpkin pie in a glass!
I am more than happy to introduce this fall favorite to Smoothie Sunday.
Seriously folks, this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie tastes like you shoved a Thanksgiving pie into the blender and pushed go! Fortunately this yummy drink is MUCH healthier than that!
Note: If you do not have frozen fruit to use for the smoothies, fresh fruit will work just fine. If using fresh fruit, make sure to add a handful of ice to the other ingredients before blending. The frozen fruit just adds that cold element to make an ice cold drink.

That description is amazing – a Thanksgiving pie shoved in the blender. Oh, yes, count me in. This looks amazing. I have some pumpkin puree leftover from muffins I made last week. I actually froze it, which I think would work well in this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Corey, though I love the taste of pumpkin , I have few recipes that actually highlight it’s taste. I can’t wait to try this one and share it with my daughter. Once again, your recipe appears super yummy and so simple to make!!! Thank you!

Just want to say for those without ready access to canned pumpkin (like me in Belgium) that this recipe works out great with 1/2c of cooked pumpkin–mine was baked, but steamed should work too, the idea is that the pumpkin is not raw. I can’t find pumpkin pie spice here either but put in a dessert spice mix and added a bit of nutmeg. I used half of the honey and put in a pinch of stevia to save some calories, and it was lovely. Love smoothies that have vegetables in them. Next time I’ll make a double batch and freeze some for a mid-morning snack at work (my Vitamix blender is too loud for early morning use). Sounds like it would be incredible with graham crackers or Digestive biscuits on the side for the crust taste.

Sorry but I personally did not like this. It was not sweet enough and the banana overpowered the pumpkin taste. Just my opinion.

I am so sorry you didn’t like it Mary Ann. Maybe you could add more honey in next time.

This was DELICIOUS!!!! Thank you for sharing this awesome recipe!!!! I took out the honey because the banana gives enough sweetness to the smoothie. I’ll definetly will make this again ❤.

I love this, I’m a sucker for fall and all the recipes that come with it!

I’m going to try this because it sounds amazing. What would you suggest adding though to increase he protein?
Corey says
You could add in some collagen peptides for about 15-20 more grams of protein. I hope that helps!
