Why start your day with the cold cereal and milk when you can mix it up with this Savory Sausage Cheese Breakfast Bread! This breakfast bread is full of all your favorite breakfast flavors…. Cheese, eggs and sausage!!!

I’m sure any breakfast meat would also taste amazing in this bread, so if you don’t have sausage on hand, no worries. Substitute in some bacon or diced ham. Do you have a vegetarian at home? Try out a vegetarian soy sausage. It works just the same and tastes great.   This Savory Sausage Cheese Breakfast Bread also reheats perfectly in the toaster oven the next day (that is IF you have any leftovers…just sayin’)

How to make Savory Sausage Cheese Breakfast Bread

Ingredients you will need
sausage links
diced onion
grated parmesan cheese
shredded cheddar cheese
eggs
Franks Hot Sauce (or you favorite hot sauce)
salt
pepper
all purpose seasoning (such as Mrs. Dash)
Bisquick
milk
mayo

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roughly chop up sausage links. Saute sausage and onions over a medium high heat until sausage is browned. Set side.sausage pieces cooking in a pan with diced onion
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine egg, milk, mayo cheeses, hot sauce, salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash (or any all purpose seasoning) . Mix well. I found it easiest to use a stand mixer.
  3. Next slowly mix in  Bisquick.  Mix well.
  4. Now add in sausage & onions. Mix until just blended.
  5. Coat a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter. Pour mixture into loaf pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.bread dough in a bread pan

Ingredients
 

  • 8 links sausage
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Franks Hot Sauce or you favorite hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp all purpose seasoning such as Mrs. Dash
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup mayo

Instructions
