When you want to show your family some love, there’s nothing quite like home-baked cookies. Biting into a warm cookie fresh out of the oven is like walking into a hug.
But for a busy mom, it’s not always easy to find the time to bake from scratch. So all too often, you end up sending your kids to school with store-bought cookies in their lunch boxes, which just isn’t the same.

I’m looking forward to trying this recipe. Two questions: Is the butter softened, melted, or cold? And do you just stir the ingredients together or do you use a mixer? Thanks.
I used a hand mixer Lori, and it’s best if the butter is softened.
Great! Thanks for your speedy reply.
A disappointment. Not at all like a home made cookie. Cost wise, timewise an taking the end product into consideration find another recipe or buy a package of commercial cookies!
I am so sorry you didn’t like these Naomi.
I just tried this recipe and I thought it was great. I used all butter instead of adding oil. I also added a half cup of mini chocolate chips (because that’s how I roll…) The cookies are delicious and my husband especially loves them!
