Baked Fried Pickles
How many fried pickle lovers do I have out there? YUM! If I ever see Fried Pickles on a menu… I HAVE to have them, no questions asked.
I know some of you have never enjoyed this strange , yet delicious appetizer, and are probably thinking FRIED PICKLES?!? Trust me. If you like pickles, chances are you are going to love these.
On the down side, fried pickles are not the healthiest thing. In fact, my pilates instructor Angie, was appalled when she heard I had been dipping fried ANYTHING in ranch dressing 🙂
These will be a regular treat at our house, seeing as the girls ate more than me! They sat down to try some, and when I returned, they were ALL GONE! Hope you enjoy!

Brand new concept to me… I will have to try this sometime.
I tried these last night. Very good, a big hit here
HI! Thanks for the recipe! I thought that the kids would LOVE this since they love pickles and I don’t have a picky eater in the bunch. I was almost right…. I didn’t have any panko and didn’t realize until I had already mixed together the “wet” ingredients that I didn’t have ANY bread crumbs! So, I pulled out the frosted flakes and the food chopper and gave them a good crumble. Then I mixed them about half and half with potato flakes (mashed potatoes)… something my hubby does when making chicken nuggets for the kids. Other than that, I didn’t change a thing. I thought they were great and so did my youngest! I’ve had they only once before and that was at Hamburger in Paradise and I thought they were kinda gross! But these were soooo very good! Forget the naysayers (7 and 4)… they don’t know nuff’n! 🙂 Thanks again!
That is great Holly! Your coating sounds amazing. YUM! I am so glad they were a hit 🙂 XO
ohhh… I forgot to say that the “bread crumb” mixture I used turned out great! I think, next time, I will let them broil just a little longer to the edges are a bit crunchier!
Can these be made ahead and reheated? Thinking of trying for a baby shower? Thoughts?
Mona, I have never reheated, but I think i should work.
