Buffalo Ranch Crack Pretzels
These buffalo pretzels are going to blow your mind!
When I first found out seasoned pretzels were a thing, I just knew I’d have to try making some of my own.
Seasoned pretzels are an incredibly addictive snack that’s really easy to make. You just take a bag of plain old store-bought pretzels, toss them with melted butter and seasonings, and bake them gently to lock the flavor in. And presto-pretzels, an amazing party appetizer that will disappear in minutes.
So, I definitely needed to make some, but which kind? I’ve seen recipes for ranch-flavored pretzels, spicy pretzels, even crack pretzels with all the flavors of a good crack dip. With so many great flavors, I couldn’t possibly choose just one – so I decided to make all of them at once.

I mixed my melted butter with ranch dressing mix, onion, garlic, paprika – and, to really spice things up, my favorite Buffalo hot sauce. (I’ve already tried Buffalo seasoning on everything from meatballs to Tater Tots, so why not pretzels?) Then I bathed those pretzels in the spicy stuff so it coated them all over, and baked them.
And here’s the finished product: Buffalo Ranch Crack Pretzels. They’re fiery, zesty, and completely irresistible.

If you don’t like a lot of heat can you reduce the amount of hot sauce or even leave it out completely ?
Is the butter salted or unsalted? Are the pretzel salted or unsalted? I’ve tried a recipe like this and it was too salty. This sounds delicious and I’d love to try it!
It does depend on your taste. If you have tried one before and it was too salty, I would suggest using the unsalted version of either the butter or pretzels.
