Ingredients for Easy Pizza Burgers

Ingredients Needed

  • Ground beef– I used 80/20 beef.
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Dried oregano
  • Dried basil
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Hamburger buns – I used Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse Brioche buns.
  • Pizza sauce – I used a store bought sauce, but homemade pizza sauce works great too.
  • Mozzarella cheese – Provolone cheese slices can be used instead.
  • Pepperoni slices – regular or turkey pepperoni are both great

Substitutions

Ground Beef: substitute with ground turkey, or ground chicken instead.
Mozzarella Cheese: Use provolone or a blend of Italian cheeses.
Pepperoni: Replace with Canadian bacon or sautéed mushrooms for a different twist.

Pizza Burgers are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

To Reheat: Place the burger patties in a skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally until heated through. Or microwave on high for 1-2 minutes until hot.

To Freeze: It’s recommended to freeze the cooked patties separately from the buns and toppings. Reheat as directed and assemble just before serving.

How to Make Pizza Burgers

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices pepperoni

Instructions
