This is the second time I’ve made these. The first time was for a Christmas get together and today for the LII Superbowl. I tweaked the recipe just a bit for our preferences, added a bit of Siracha sauce just to give it an extra zing and added a bit of water (as we like things a bit saucier). Thank you for the recipe.
I was leery about trying a new recipe out during a party, but I wanted something other than the same old grape jelly sauce. I’m so glad I found this recipe and took a chance, because it was a huge hit during my Superbowl Party this year! I doubled the recipe and still didn’t have any left! I will definitely make this again!
I’ve made this recipe so many times over the last couple years for potlucks and parties. It’s always a hit – I’ve had lots of people ask me for the recipe and I send them this link. Thanks for posting!
This comment made me smile 🙂 Thanks Clarissa!
How long should you cook for a 6 qt crock pot?
I have used a 6qt for this recipe with this cook time.
If I want to cook twice the meatballs do I just double the recipe?
No, you might have to added 40-60 mins more if cooking on high. It all depends on your crockpot. So just keep an eye on them.
