Can I use a different type of meat?

Yes! Thinly sliced deli turkey, ham, or even leftover steak would all work well in this recipe. Just make sure whatever meat you use is thinly sliced so it layers nicely.

What cheese can I substitute for provolone?

Swiss cheese, pepper jack, or mozzarella would all be great substitutes. You could also use a combination for extra flavor.

Can I freeze Philly Cheesesteak Squares?

Yes! Once fully cooled, wrap the squares tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350 F until warmed through.
