Do you think ranch style beans would work? I could drain them. My family doesn’t like kidney beans
Sure! I think that would be great!
I used grillin beans and rinsed juice because i dindnt have kidney beans on hand. Was delicious
Looks so yummy!! What can you sub the cream of mushroom soup for, or can you?
You can sub in other cream of soups or make your own. MOMables has a great recipe for that HERE
Making this now and it looks so good. I messed up though and added a can of corn instead of a cup. Misread the ingredients. Hopefully it turns out ok!!
How did yours turn out? Mine looks runny. I did the same thing.
I’m attempting to make this since the hurricane just came along the coast and do not have cream of mushroom but I do have beef bullion cubes any way of using it?
Can this be prepped the night before in the crockpot, refrigerated and started in the morning?
Does it have to be red potatoes?
Just pinned this!! It looks delicious! =)
Yay! Thanks Melissa!
The directions say to add everything except the cheese but I don’t see cheese listed in the ingredient list. Am I missing something? Also, we don’t have Mrs. Dash. Is there a substitute? Thanks
Sorry Nicole, the 1 cup of cheese got cut off of the recipe card. It is on there now 🙂 Do you have any other sort of an all seasoning?
Hi Corey, I can’t find Mrs Dash easily out here in Belgium but I am loading up my crock pot now with a smidgen of veg bouillon but not putting in salt. Even DH, my pickiest eater, is interested in this so fingers are crossed!
Looks good!!! DEFINITELY pinning!!!
Looks so delicious 🙂
