My family loved this recipe! It’s super easy too! Definitely keeping this recipe handy for the fall and winter months!

  2. My husband can’t eat tomatoes, do you think it would still be good if I just left them out?

    1. Can he do any tomato products? Like paste or pasta sauce?

    2. It’s very tomato heavy. If he can’t do tomatoes or tomato products, it’s probably best if you just skip it. There really isn’t a substitute when there’s so much tomato.

    1. Yes, I had the same question. Would that be the 14.5 or the 28 oz. can of tomatoes?

    2. Same question here…..

    3. same question here. What size tomato can?

  3. This looks delicious! Could you substitute the beans with something else, like carrots, mushrooms or onions? Perhaps later in the cooking process? Neither my boyfriend nor I like beans, but I would love to make this with more veggies!

    1. I like all of your substitute ideas. I think they would all be fine to add at the beginning. YUM! Let me know how it turns out 🙂
