So delicious! I was super skeptical of this recipe for some reason and have had it bookmarked for months, but I’m so happy I finally tried it!

I followed it exactly, with the only exception of doubling the sauce since I had it over white rice and wanted extra drizzle.

    Thanks a bunch!

  2. These are excellent and I always make a large batch to have as leftovers. I use 20 oz. bags of Angus Beef Meatballs (Cooked Perfect brand. They are “dinner” sized and prefer them over the basic appetizer size. I like to have extra sauce, so I use 3 bags and make 3x the sauce ingredients. It all fits well in my large 6 quart slow cooker. These are served along with 6 cups or so of “sticky rice” that I make in my rice cooker. Tonight I think I am going to try adding steamed French style green beans in the last hour of cooking. Have to try something to get my partner to eat a few veggies?

Thanks for the great recipe. I was in a bind today because I needed something quick and easy for a Memorial Day weekend potluck.

I had 3 bags of 40 oz meatballs in the freezer, quadrupled the sauce, poured it over them, and put them in the oven at 350 degrees. I used 3 glass pans, 9″ x 12″. The directions on the meatball package said only 20 minutes, but it took about an hour. Meanwhile I was at the party, and almost forgot them.

They were a huge hit! Everyone thought I had some secret recipe that took hours and hours of work. I had people asking for the recipe all evening. They disappeared off of the table in the first 15 minutes. I’ve never made anything for a potluck that took only 5 minutes to throw together.

    Thanks so much.

  5. What size meatballs? 1 oz. or 1/2 oz.? I have 1/2 oz. but a very large bag! Am doing a test for a wedding appetizer.
