Tater Tot Nachos
Sometimes I think you can do anything with Tater Tots.
Top ‘em with cheese, like a loaded baked potato. Pop ‘em in the waffle iron and make perfect hash browns. Spice ‘em up like buffalo wings, and make a tasty party appetizer. The totsabilities are endless!

But this time, I think I may be taking tater tots where they’ve never gone before. Tater Tot Nachos. Tachos.
It makes sense in a way, right? I mean, who doesn’t love nachos? And what could make nachos even better like replacing those plain old chips with crunchy, fluffy morsels of tater goodness?
Tachos are just about as easy as nachos. They take a little longer, because you have to cook the tots first, but once they’re done, you just sprinkle on the toppings and pop them back in the oven for a couple of minutes. And when they come out, you’ll have a hot, cheesy, tater-y fiesta on a plate.
All they really need to make them perfect is a little pico de gallo salsa. But don’t worry—I’ll take care of that in my next post….stay tuned!!!

Omgee,
My family and I have nachos with the works as a dinner meal every couple of months. I just got adult braces when my son started asking for nachos. Once my teeth become accustomed to the braces, I can make these! Omit the tortilla chips and replace with TATER TOTS. Brilliant!
OMG! This looks so amazing. So so tempting, feel like having some.
MMMM !! These look so good! They also reminded me of an episode on Rachael Ray that had tater tots like 10 different ways.. now I have to go hunt around and see if I can find that episode. 🙂
