Two Ingredient Dough Focaccia Protein Bread
Looking for a shortcut to homemade focaccia? This Two Ingredient Dough Focaccia Protein Bread recipe skips the yeast and uses just simple ingredients—making it perfect for beginners or anyone short on time. I’ve used two ingredient dough for pizza, rolls, and bagels and wanted to try it out with focaccia! Technically there are more than 2 ingredients with the kitchen staples of salt, oil and dried rosemary….. But the tried and true two ingredients dough base is the same. The delicious flavor of fresh rosemary and sea salt on top makes each bite taste like it came straight from a bakery. No stand mixer or long dough rise needed—just mix, press, and bake!

Yes! Just use a larger baking sheet or large mixing bowl and adjust bake time as needed.
Nope—just a large bowl, floured work surface, and your hands!
That’s normal—add a sprinkle of flour to your work surface as needed, but don’t overdo it or the bread may dry out.
No self-rising flour? Use 1½ cups all-purpose flour + 2¼ tsp baking powder + ½ tsp salt.
Try other herbs: Swap rosemary for fresh thyme, oregano, or even minced garlic for garlic focaccia.

Ingredient Notes
- self-rising flour – The key ingredient dough base that eliminates the need for yeast. You can also substitute with purpose flour and baking powder if needed (see below).
- Greek yogurt – Adds moisture and chew to the focaccia dough; opt for full-fat for best results.
- olive oil – Used in the dough and on the surface of the dough for flavor and that golden, crisp finish.
- sea salt – Sprinkled on top for classic focaccia flavor and crunch.
- dried rosemary – Brings that traditional Italian flatbread aroma and taste right into your kitchen.
