Made this today! I subbed a mixed frozen bag of corn, carrots, peas, and beans. I still put in chopped carrots, at the beginning. I didn’t have the spices so subbed Herbs de Provence. So yummy! Thank you for posting.
want to make this recipe; but can’t find the nutrition information. Can you please direct me to it? thanks
Hi Anna Maria. If you plug the ingredients in to a fitness app, like My Fitness Pal, you can get all the stats that way.
Oh my this is so good! And insanely easy. Of course I had to make some minor changes; omitted peas and corn, added crushed tomatoes and quartered mushrooms. Possibly the best beef stew I’ve ever made!
This is absolutely the best crockpot beef stew ever!! I’m so glad I if found your recipe. I cook it overnight and it’s super easy. I also may add a tad more of the veggies and an extra cup of water with a beef bouillon cube too. Guess what I’m having for lunch/dinner today? Love this!! Thanks again.
I love this recipe. I tweak it a little though. Sautee the onions and celery along with the garlic. Put flour on the beef and sear it for about 30 seconds on each side. Chop up the carrots into bite-sized pieces. And I roast the potatoes with some olive oil and seasonings and throw them in with the corn and peas about 30 minutes before serving. The roasted potatoes give the stew an even more savory taste and it’s literally to die for. I love this recipe; I’m making it today, I made it a few weeks ago. Love love love love love.
